This is the best budget priced dual stage co2 regulator.
I spent decent amount of money on a crummy Co2art regulator everybody talks about. I don’t think anybody knows what they are talking about after having this up and flowing for 3 weeks. GLA co2 regulators are a major upgrade in comparison. This solenoid and manifold system is leaps and bounds what co2art is putting out for a premium price. I like this expandable manifold and butter smooth needle valve system. I took the whole manifold apart to see if GLA’s claims to valve construction are true. And indeed they are, fully sealed metal on metal valve seats throughout the whole valve. This is what makes it so damn smooth, no plastics and no fluctuations within the orifice map. GLA does it right and that’s what they’re known for.

Very happy having chose the Mini DS
I was on a slight budget for my co2 system and wanted the Pro DS. But by going this route I was able to use the extra $50 on a drop checker,tubing and a diffuser. Now that it’s set up I’m highly impressed with this system. I like the dual stage aspect and quality of the regulator and solenoid system with the manifold. You can feel the quality in your hands when compared to Fzone. Which reminds me, fair warning on Fzone because my old one didn’t last 3 months. The needle valve knob fell off and the fluctuations were crazy day to day. I have had none of these issues in the 4 weeks I’ve owned this Mini DS. It’s solid everyday and it’s just so pretty, very nice finish to the whole assembly. Thank you GLA for answering all my questions because I asked a ton of questions and they were very patient. Fabulous people at GLA.

DS-mini regulator and support
Being brand new to co2 I ended up ordering this after reading a lot of reviews, and knowing that with my current schedule and being gone long hours, I didn't want to start out feeling concerned about needing to tweak and constantly monitor and worry about the levels, as I was introducing it to an established aquarium with lots of inhabitants. I had read that GLA is one of the best in the market, and decided to spend a little extra because I was fortunate enough to be able to, and also it seemed worth the ease. Well, being brand new to this with no previous experience when I first set it up it didn't seem to be working right, and I was worried that it was either messed up or I had inadvertently messed something up in the installation process. However, once I was able to get in touch with the GLA support team, David walked me through a real time emailed/text troubleshooting session and was able to pinpoint the issues. Its now set up, on a timer, and I am getting stable co2 readings (at least from the drop checker), and not worried about the fish. The DS Mini also fits really well in the tight corner space I have at the base of the stairs for the tank, and looks about as classy as one of these things could look. I would definitely recommend this regulator and GLA for their awesome customer support!

So glad I chose this one!
I was having a hard time deciding with all the options. With help from GLA abd a few days of thinking I chose the Mini DS. I wanted dual stage and a compact regulator to go with a 2.5lb cylinder. This was going to sit behind my tank. But! Because it was so nice I decided to put it to the side, looks too good! Functions beautifully is absolutely stable everyday. Love its construction and finish. If you’re on the fence and can’t decide the Mini is the happy middle!

Compact and loving the modern look.
Very happy with this HLA regulator. It’s very modern and compact but obviously not limited because it’s feeding co2 to my 700g room dividing tank. Very high quality construction and materials. I must say, the customer service is unbelievable and always reliable. They have some text message app service that’s completely mind blowing. Besides all that I can’t say enough about the staff and quality products I’ve received from GLA, I absolutely love this regulator.

Truly remarkable regulator.
I come from DIY dual stage regulators which are extremely large and heavy for aquarium applications. I’ve had my personal build well into 15 years until last month, not even sure what happened it just wouldn’t hold pressure. I saw a bunch of GLA regulators at Aquashella and was very impressed with this Mini DS piston style regulator. Upon speaking with the rep at the show this is a Matheson design, which is highly coveted for its extreme precision and stability. So much in a compact package had me intrigued so I purchased one and is now installed. Dual stage reliability and a needle valve so smooth and precise like my Swagelock valve. I give big kudos to GLA for thinking of all the important aspects of what we as hobbyist look for. The manifold system they created is the icing on the cake. GLA is a good group of guys doing what they love. Pleasure meeting you all at the show!

My second GLA regulator and I love it.
I already have the Pro DS but I have a new tank in my basement bar set up now. This is nice because it’s compact and squeezes in next to my existing beer keg co2 system that’s slightly bigger, so it fits perfect. It is one buttery smooth regulator that is easy to get set and forget. High quality from end to end so absolutely no complaints.

This thing is awesome and perfect fit for the GLA 2.5lb cylinder. Fits under my nano like a glove. Super nice regulator and very precise in co2 delivery.

Such a nice regulator guys!
I purchased this to replace my Fzone co2 regulator and its been a blessing. I set it and i dont have to play around with it everyday to get my setting back to normal. I definitely notice a quality difference here, if you have any other brand and you are looking to upgrade this is a huge step up. Dual stage and has the modular solenoid. You will love the needle valve it is so buttery smooth. :)
