What is the benefit of dual-stage regulation?

Can this run multiple aquariums?
Yes. The PRO-DS system uses a modular manifold design that allows you to expand CO2 distribution to multiple aquariums.
Each “block” on the manifold represents one independently controlled CO2 output. When selecting your configuration above, simply choose the number of blocks based on how many aquariums you plan to run.
- 1 block = 1 aquarium
- 2 blocks = 2 aquariums
- 3 blocks = 3 aquariums, and so on
For example, if you are running three planted tanks, you would select a 3-block manifold. Additional blocks can be added later if your setup expands.
Does the CO2 tank come filled?
No. The cylinder ships empty and must be filled at a local supplier.
Is this suitable for beginners?

Limited Lifetime Warranty: GLA CO2 regulators are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only when the product is used in accordance with Green Leaf Aquariums, LLC (GLA) guidelines and standard operating practices.
Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from greenleafaquariums.com or authorized sales channels. Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.
This warranty does not guarantee product performance for the lifetime of the purchaser. Product lifespan may vary based on usage, installation, and operating conditions.
- Coverage applies only to manufacturing defects under normal use
- GLA reserves the right to repair, replace, or issue store credit at its sole discretion
- If a product is discontinued, a comparable replacement or credit may be provided based on product condition and age
Warranty Exclusions:
- Improper installation, misuse, neglect, or damage
- Modifications, alterations, or unauthorized repairs
- Use of improper tools or excessive force
- Normal wear and cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
Important: A wrench should only be used to secure the regulator to the CO2 cylinder. Damage resulting from improper use of tools or incorrect installation methods is not covered under this warranty.
GLA is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation or use. However, repair services and support may be available for a fee.
CO2 cylinders, tubing, cartridges, and other consumable or accessory items are not covered under the regulator warranty unless otherwise specified.

The best co2 system Ive ever used.
Coming from a lab setting perspective I can say this co2 system is the best system you can find. I have several others from GLA competitors which I will not name, but they are in no way the same caliber as GLA. Ive been with GLA since I started aquascaping in 2006. GLA was just a baby lol. This new DS-1 Co2 system is truly superior in build quality. If your hesitant just email them and they will be happy to provide reference photos of the competitors. That alone will be enough to scare you away from anything else. I use GLA co2 systems oddly for more than just my aquascapes. I work for the US government in a lab setting where we use GLA co2 systems to calibrate co2 sensors. There is a reason why we use GLA which I will not go into detail. I can say that GLA co2 systems are like no other because working for the government we have strict protocols on materials used in our lab testing. Long story short, GLA is the cats pajamas.

Turn Key co2 system with super service.
Ive never owned a co2 system before so this is my first as I dont have any reference for any other. I can say that it definitely feels like the most well built piece of aquarium equipment I own. I was nervous about using co2 but the instructions made everything so simple. If I was able to install this in 10 minutes without a hiccup anybody can. Loved the fast shipping and superb packaging. The best part about the whole experience was GLA has actual full complete co2 systems like nobody else. These guys have been building co2 systems since 2006, why go anyplace else? From what I understand they invented the modular manifold block. All the more reason to go with GLA.

Best co2 system experience hands down.
This is my second attempt at a high tech tank after my previous aquascape was a failure due to poor planning. Well, needless to say Im planning correctly and have had my GLA DS co2 regulator for 4 months now and could not be happier. Im confident you will love this regulator as much as we do, it not only looks like a true working dual stage but it actually is the nicest piece of aquarium equipment I own. GLA was prompt and extremely helpful in helping me replace my previous mistake. You have a GLA customer for life. Thanks Laura for all the guidance!

Sooo much better!
I dont have much to compare this regulator to as its only my second one. What I can say is that the GLA DS-1 co2 regulator is leaps and bounds to what I previously had. This regulator is a true work of art.

Excellent System
Purchased this system for my 100 gallon tank at work (my first foray in CO2) and was so impressed with it that I bought a second identical system for my tank at home. The setup was relatively easy with clear instructions. The PH controller works like a charm. Since I got it up and running the plants are growing like crazy, and I haven't had to adjust anything. It's expensive, but I feel it is well worth the money. I had an issue with my diffuser not functioning correctly initially on the first system, but the company sent me a replacement by priority mail immediately. Before the replacement arrived the diffuser started diffusing (probably a stuck check valve). Impressed with GLA.

PRO-DS STYSTEM
New to the hobby.. I always prefer buy the best. And man did GLA deliver!! I bought the pro-ds for my 75 gallon planted tank and after unboxing the meticulously packed product I knew I had the best!!! Easy to install, easy to follow instructions (you can’t f up). And within minutes they responded to a question I had while setting up. And must I add.. IT’S FREAKING GORGEOUS with impressive build quality! Shout out to Orlando!! Thanks for your help

Co2 system
I bought this as my first Co2 system vs buying cheap and working my way up to quality. It appears to be really well made, it was easy enough to put together. The packaging for everything was mint and it showed up very quickly. I however, had a problem with the check valve that was sent with it. It didn't matter what I did, it continued to allow water through the tube. (I don't know if I just got a faulty one or if others have had the same problem)This is why I took a star off. I'm currently using a cheap plastic one (which is holding the water at bay) while I wait for a better quality one to come from a local aquatic store.

Worth every penny!
Fabulous co2 system. This GLA DS co2 system replaced my old kit that was only two years old until it fell dead on a Friday. I contacted GLA that evening and had my co2 system in 2 days. Upon arrival I was totally amazed at the build quality,packaging and service. Dont wait like I did, go with GLA from the start. It was super nice working with them directly especially being a legit USA based company. Love my GLA co2 system!

Excatly what I wanted from GLA
So glad to finally have a GLA co2 system for my 60p. This system is flawless, from packaging to installation process. The regulator is very well built and the needle valve is solid. GLA complete co2 system purchase was no brainer. GLA is a full service co2 system specialist shop with fantastic prices, albeit not the least expensive, but then again what low cost item every lasted? Just remember your buying a complete system from a reputable company who knows there stuff. Working with GLA has been a treat in comparison to who I was dealing with before. And they are located in Florida, the sunshine state!

Excellent build quality
Very happy with this co2 system. Its been an absolute dream in comparison to my previous co2 system. Was very happy to be able to purchase a true complete co2 kit from one place, with actual co2 experts. Its been almost 3 months with this system. I love it.
