- Integrated Protection: A pressure relief valve provides additional protection, while multi-stage stainless steel micron filtration helps protect internal regulator components from contamination.
- Durable Construction: A precision metal-on-metal valve seat and quality pneumatic components are designed for dependable long-term operation.
- USA Inspection & Testing: Every PRO-DS regulator is individually inspected, pressure tested, and leak checked in the USA before shipment.
International CO2 Cylinder Compatibility
The GLA PRO-DS DIN477 regulator is designed for compatible international CO2 cylinders. Its cylinder connection differs from the standard USA CGA-320 configuration.
Cylinder valve connections may vary by country, supplier, and cylinder type. Before ordering, confirm that your local CO2 cylinder uses a connection compatible with this regulator.
Important: Do not assume compatibility based on your country alone. If you're unsure which connection your cylinder uses, contact GLA before purchasing.
Cylinder Compatibility: Designed for compatible DIN477 CO2 cylinder connections. Confirm your cylinder valve standard before ordering, as connection requirements vary by country and supplier.
AU, EU & UK Power Adapter Options
The PRO-DS DIN477 regulator includes an electric solenoid for automatic CO2 on/off control.
Select the appropriate AU, EU, or UK power adapter from the available product options. Your selected adapter is included with the regulator.
The solenoid can be connected to a compatible timer or controller to coordinate CO2 injection with your aquarium's lighting schedule.
Expandable Modular Manifold System
The PRO-DS modular manifold allows one regulator and CO2 cylinder to supply multiple planted aquariums. Select the number of outlets you need from the available product options.
- PRO-DS-1: One independently adjustable CO2 outlet
- PRO-DS-2: Two independently adjustable CO2 outlets
- PRO-DS-3: Three independently adjustable CO2 outlets
- PRO-DS-4: Four independently adjustable CO2 outlets
- PRO-DS-5: Five independently adjustable CO2 outlets
- PRO-DS-6: Six independently adjustable CO2 outlets
Each manifold block includes its own precision needle valve and integrated bubble counter. This allows CO2 flow to be adjusted independently for each aquarium.
All outlets share the regulator's working pressure and automatic on/off schedule, regardless of the selected manifold size.

Frequently Asked Questions
What CO2 cylinders are compatible with PRO-DS DIN477?
This regulator is designed for compatible international DIN477-style CO2 cylinder connections. Confirm your cylinder's actual valve connection with your supplier before ordering.
Can I use this regulator with a standard USA CO2 cylinder?
This model uses an international cylinder connection rather than the standard USA CGA-320 connection. For standard USA cylinders, choose the GLA PRO-DS CGA-320 Regulator.
Does the regulator include a power adapter?
Yes. Select AU, EU, or UK from the available power adapter options when ordering. Your selected adapter is included.
What is the benefit of dual-stage pressure regulation?
Dual-stage regulators reduce cylinder pressure in two stages rather than one. This helps maintain consistent working pressure as cylinder pressure changes, including when the CO2 supply approaches depletion.
How many aquariums can PRO-DS DIN477 supply?
Choose from one to six manifold outlets when ordering. Each outlet includes its own precision needle valve and bubble counter for independent CO2 flow adjustment.
Can each aquarium receive a different amount of CO2?
Yes. Each manifold outlet has its own precision needle valve, allowing CO2 flow to be adjusted independently. All outlets share the same working pressure.
Can connected aquariums have different CO2 schedules?
The integrated solenoid switches all manifold outlets on and off together. CO2 flow can be adjusted independently, but the outlets share the same automatic operating schedule.
Can I add more manifold blocks later?
Yes. Compatible expansion blocks can be added up to the six-outlet configuration. Confirm your existing manifold generation, as G2 and G3 blocks are not interchangeable.
What do the two pressure gauges display?
One gauge displays CO2 cylinder pressure, while the second displays the regulator's adjustable working pressure. Cylinder pressure does not provide a precise measurement of remaining liquid CO2.
Can I use different CO2 diffusers on each aquarium?
Yes. Each outlet may supply a compatible ceramic diffuser, inline atomizer, or CO2 reactor. All connected diffusion equipment must be compatible with the shared working-pressure setting.
Does PRO-DS DIN477 include a CO2 cylinder?
No. This listing includes the PRO-DS regulator, selected manifold configuration, integrated components, selected power adapter, and GLA OEM tank seal. A compatible cylinder, CO2-resistant tubing, and diffusion equipment are sold separately.

Best of the best CO2 regulator
From top quality manufacturing, packaging and shipping to the stellar performance of this CO2 regulator I have no words to explain how much I like this product!
-
Best in the hobby.
No comparison when comparing to Co2Art. GLA is the absolute beast in co2 gear. Much finer materials and quality in built integrity. I get better precision flow deliver compared to my shitty co2art regulator. Easily 3x heavier and beefier in size. Im sure this makes all the difference folks. GLA is premium goods.
-
Superior Co2 system from GLA.
While more investment, its very clear to me the quality in GLA co2. You will notice right away when you handle the system. Very sturdy and more robust in size. The flow adjustments are very smooth, so much to like in GLA.

Regulators and customer service
I’ve been using your regulators for years with great satisfaction. Since I moved to Asia I could not get a quality regulator. I purchased 2 more and picked them up while I was in the USA. Unfortunately it was suggested I buy the Din type for Thailand. I just got back and went to install and as it turns out Thailand is CGA. Disappointed in the recommendation.

GLA Pro
I had great experience with GLA while living in the USA. Moved to Thailand 2 years ago and have been struggling with poor quality regulators made in china and finally decided to go back to the best!
-
Beautiful work by GLA.
I order to replace my garbage unit I have now. It cost more to ship to me in Germany but it was worth it. It arrived timely in only 7 days. I was quick to notice the solenoid system on the GLA was very nice, very high quality. I should have went with GLA from the start.

Absolute best in the aquascaping hobby.
After struggling with the BS Co2art and Fzone for a year of pandemic hell. I don’t use any crazy diffusers and I only feed two aquariums with one regulator. Neither of these were able to stay consistent and the bubble counters would break on the regular. I was over this consistent problems so I chose to buy from American

Brilliant bit of kit!
So much of an improvement from my knock off unit. I saw George Farmer has been running GLA for ages! GLA regulators are 2-3x that of the rest of the bunch. Heavier and beefier all around. Luv it!
-
Absolutely incredible quality.
Bravo GLA, thank you for helping us with our co2 needs here in Italy. The DS Co2 regulator is absolutely a step above all the rest. This is true high quality equipment, unlike the co2art stuff they are pumping out in those fancy cardboard boxs. The ones we received from those guys was not even in the same playing field as GLA... People, know what your getting into before you purchase. Here at our LFS we will only use GLA from now on. Bravo!

Super quality co2 regulator from GLA.
I retired my co2art regulator because it was giving me nothing but problems after 3 weeks of use. After no response I contacted GLA and within a few emails I had a deliver notification. Living in Germany I had concerns with delivery times. It arrived via Express in 5 days, faster than my local deliveries lol. As for the performance, I knew it was quality the second I took it out of the box. Its twice the weight of the co2 fart regulator. Which come to my surprise is a knock off version of GLA manifold system. GLA is the co2 pioneer of co2 distribution and invented the manifold system. Seeing as I was dealing directly with the originators, why go anyplace else. Nobody does it better than GLA. Im begging my wife to buy me another one. :) Thank you GLA.
