What is the benefit of dual-stage regulation?

Can this run multiple aquariums?
Yes. The PRO-DS system uses a modular manifold design that allows you to expand CO2 distribution to multiple aquariums.
Each “block” on the manifold represents one independently controlled CO2 output. When selecting your configuration above, simply choose the number of blocks based on how many aquariums you plan to run.
- 1 block = 1 aquarium
- 2 blocks = 2 aquariums
- 3 blocks = 3 aquariums, and so on
For example, if you are running three planted tanks, you would select a 3-block manifold. Additional blocks can be added later if your setup expands.
Does the CO2 tank come filled?
No. The cylinder ships empty and must be filled at a local supplier.
Is this suitable for beginners?

Limited Lifetime Warranty: The GLA PRO-DS CO2 Regulator included in this system is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only when the product is used in accordance with Green Leaf Aquariums, LLC (GLA) guidelines and standard operating practices.
This warranty does not guarantee product performance for the lifetime of the purchaser. Product lifespan may vary based on usage, installation, and operating conditions.
- Coverage applies only to manufacturing defects under normal use
- GLA reserves the right to repair, replace, or issue store credit at its discretion
- If a product is discontinued, a comparable replacement or credit may be provided based on product condition and age
Warranty Exclusions:
- Improper installation, misuse, neglect, or damage
- Modifications, alterations, or unauthorized repairs
- Use of improper tools or excessive force
- Normal wear and cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
Important: A wrench should only be used to secure the regulator to the CO2 cylinder. Damage resulting from improper use of tools or incorrect installation methods is not covered under this warranty.
GLA is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation or use. However, repair services and support may be available for a fee.
CO2 cylinders, tubing, and other consumable or accessory items included with this system are not covered under the regulator warranty unless otherwise specified.
Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.

When it comes to co2 systems GLA is what you want.
There are tons of options for co2 systems but make no mistake, nothing compares to GLA quality. I’ve had many kits in my day the most recent I was using a ph controller. I’ll never use a ph controller again. Save your money and go with a Bluetooth timer. You’ll save tons of headache from constant calibrating and yearly purchase of new probes. I always thought they were necessary for stability, boy was I ever wrong and won’t be the last time either. Honestly I don’t think ph controllers hold a place in fresh water planted tanks at all. I’d love to argue this with anybody lol. The Pro DS regulator is stable as ever and effortless to maintain. Folks at GLA are amazing to work with m, you can’t go wrong with this system.

GLA is the original co2 regulator.
I buy only GLA co2 systems since I start this hobby in 2011. We have co2 systems on all of our aquascapes at home, work and gym. Keeping a healthy vibrant aquascape for me and my clients is paramount as we feel it brings a calming affect to our customers. GLA builds the best co2 systems bar none. You don’t want to skimp on a low grade low budget discounted co2 system when you work hard to build a vibrant water garden. We’ve never had any issues ever with GLA co2 systems and is why we always recommend them to people who ask how our aquascapes function. Yes you do have lower available options, but why skimp on quality to save a few dollars. Like my business partner says, if it’s cheap it’s because it is made cheaply. There’s no getting around that fact. We have a fortune spent on fauna and flora to skimp on the co2 systems. You’ll never get disappointed with GLA.

The best co2 system money can buy.
1 year of researching co2 systems for my 250g and I kept coming to GLA hammering them with questions. After almost a year of ownership I can confidently leave a review I feel is deserving. After having my hands on competitor regulators GLA’s always felt better. One thing you’ll notice is it’s notably larger in size. Not sure what’s up with that but the competing brands like Fzone and Co2art were more like vending machine toys. I get why people like them, they are cheap, and cheaply made. More so I was able to play with these at my local trade show in Daytona. There is a noticeable difference in handling, GLA does everything better. But once dry once is the moto here. Great equipment and customer service from GLA. You have a customer for life.

Ive wanted this system for 2 years and I finally have one! I saw many systems at my local LFS but to my amazement they advised to buy from GLA! How often does that happen? Never! I have learned over the years GLA is the best in co2 systems. A super fine product you can immediately tell is well made. Customer service was amazing and installation was simple, I was shocked. Don't hesitate to go with GLA, they are indeed the kings of co2. Don't buy cheap because you will regret it.

GLA is premium co2, know that.
I bought GLA due to their highly regarded reputation. This system is top quality and superior to co2art. You simply cannot compare the two. As a previous co2art customer I can tell you without shadow of a doubt that GLA is a superior build quality. For starters it’s much larger, something is going on there. The solenoid system is simply high end, like what you would expect from a premium product. I thought that was what Co2Art was, bot was I wrong. It got the job done most of the time but was not rock steady and fluctuated with temperature changes which I found strange. I only noticed that when pulling my Apex controller reports. This is not good for a calcium reactor on a very expensive reed tank filled with $10,000 in corals and fish. I immediately contacted GLA and after discussing options this system landed at my door. I’ve had it online now for 5 months and my Apex reports are A+. Steady as a rock and reliability I can trust. You really can see and feel the difference between brands. It’s obvious GLA knows what to do as they have been around the longest. I’m thoroughly impressed. It’s likely the nicest piece of equipment in all my reef gear.

Superb System GLA Co2 is premium quality.
Impressive co2 system from GLA. I can attest ot its quality as the lesser quality which I have and still use as decoration only are absolute metal garbage. I dont even know whats going on with that Co2Art stuff, it just unscrews itself all over. To many issue to discuss here, but GLA really knocks it out of the co2 park I will say that. I enjoy quality goods, money well invested.

Totally impressed.
New aquascape and new co2 system. Came to GLA to replace my old Fzone kit. People, GLA regulators are not the same as the stuff you see on Amazon and ebay. These guys obviosly know what they are doing because it just works so much better. It even feels better when you are holding it in your hand, you can feel the quality. You will not feel that with the fzone crap. Go with GLA
