The GLA PRO-CO2 Reactor 90 Degree Internal Flow Elbow is an optional performance upgrade designed for both the Original GLA PRO-CO2 Reactor and the GLA PRO-CO2 Atomizing Reactor 5L.
Every GLA PRO-CO2 Reactor includes our standard 45 Degree Internal Flow Elbow, providing balanced performance across a wide range of aquarium filtration systems.
The optional 90 Degree Internal Flow Elbow offers an alternative internal flow configuration designed for aquariums operating near the lower end of the recommended flow range. By redirecting incoming water at a steeper angle, the 90 Degree elbow increases internal water velocity through the reactor, helping improve circulation and CO₂ dissolution.
For many lower-flow systems, this can help reduce gas accumulation within the reactor while maximizing the effectiveness of injected CO₂.

Every GLA PRO-CO2 Reactor includes the standard 45 Degree Internal Flow Elbow, which provides excellent all-around performance for most aquarium filtration systems.
The optional 90 Degree Internal Flow Elbow is recommended for hobbyists operating near the lower end of the reactor's recommended flow range or for those looking to further optimize reactor performance on lower-flow systems.
Both elbows are fully compatible with their respective reactor models and can be interchanged at any time.
