CO2 Color Guide
- Blue: Low CO2 level – increase CO2 injection
- Green: Approximate optimal CO2 level (~30ppm)
- Yellow: Elevated CO2 level – decrease CO2 injection
How to Use
- Rinse the drop checker prior to use.
- Fill with the included CO2 indicator solution.
- Install inside the aquarium using the included suction cup.
- Allow approximately 2–3 hours for the solution color to respond to aquarium CO2 levels.

Best real working drop checker I’ve used.
I feel the vital component to a good drop checker is the fluid they provide. This new GLA Orb has some very good 4DKh fluid. It’s premixed unlike the bottle they sell separately. If you’ve used drop checkers before you know what a pain it can be to get good color rendering from the 4DKh. This stuff is nothing short of perfect. It works fast and the color rendering is super easy to confirm. Overall great working combo here with the big bottle of 4DKh and pipette thingy. GLA knocks it out once again,

I am happy with my Glass Orb Drop Checker
I just purchased my 2nd of these drop checkers. Easy to read. Attractive looking. I would like clearer instructions on adding the chemicals (4dKH and the liquid that comes with the drop checker) on the website (perhaps it is there and I missed it). GLA customer support is very good.

High quality drop checker.
Very happy with GLA products. You do need the 4DKH to go with this, but it does come with a huge bottle of reagent to mix so that is a big bonus.

I was ordering more 4dkh when I saw GLA had this gem. Super cost effective guys! This I like a lot due to its price and simplicity to use. Everybody knows how difficult it is to fill a drop checker. Not with this guy!

It works perfect with GLA 4DKH
Very happy. I use this with GLA 4DKH and my API ph test reagent to mix and its been the best performing drop checker for me. Both in color and speed. I do think GLA 4DKH is the very best because I have used many others but this is super high quality and very accurate.

These are awesome.
I ordered two of these and both really nice. I wasn't expecting much because of the price but boy are they nice and big. You will need 4DKH and ph reagent to create a solution. I use my API ph test kit works great.
