The original nature aquarium co2 regulator!
I purchased this based on recommendation and I’m so glad I did. I went cheap at first using Amazon and my fish were all floating in my tank. Not sure what happened it had been running for two weeks and boom, dead. I was hesitant to do it again but this regulator just screams and oozes quality. I can’t even say my Amazon regulator would make a great paper weight but it’s to dinky even for that. My husbands happy and he doesn’t even know what he’s looking at but he knows quality when he sees and touches things. The DS regulator was up and running in a few minutes flat. Steady as a rock.

The best aquarium co2 regulator.
I feel my review today is important for a few reasons. The first, I have a fish room with 41 tanks but not all are planted but a majority are. I personally own one of all the competitors brand regulators. Here’s what I’ve learned and I feel you should know. 1. GLA regulators are nothing like co2art or UN and the other Amazon brands. I only know this because I have all of them. All the UN,co2art and Amazon Chinese brands are exactly the same regulator just rebranded. I say this because it’s 100% fact as I stare and look at these. These Chinese brands are built very small, almost dinky like if that makes sense. They are cheap these brands, and it’s clear why. There is not much going on with these regulators. The main issue with these regulators is longevity. Im finding I’m replacing them one by one as something in these brands all gave the same failure points. Im not sure what inside them is failing but after about my 2nd to 3rd cylinder refill these regulators lock up and do register psi correctly. I suspect it has something to do with the tiny parts in these regulators so I finally reached out to GLA. Now, I understand what’s going on. If you hold these Amazon cheap style regulators in one hand and GLA in the other you notice immediately that GLA is 3x the weight and size. This is due to the internal build structure of the regulator. It uses actual “Dual diaphragm” design. The cheap stuff absolutely does not. From what the engineers pointed out these cheap regulators use a spring the size of a pen to balance first stage working pressure which is fixed. This worm hole leads to the adjustable stage of the regulator where you can adjust psi at that point. This is the breaking point of these toy like regulators. How can one expect this tiny spring system to last under 1,000psi of pressure. Answer, it’s not and that’s why those regulators are cheap. Do your homework, better yet reach out to GLA engineers and they will do better at explaining mechanical operation of these regulators. I’m done wasting my money and will only use GLA from now on. In short, lesson learned don’t by cheap because it’s cheap. You’ll regret it on something like your nature aquarium aquascape.

Best nature aquarium co2 regulator.
Great quality and superior craftsmanship backed by the creators at GLA. I took pleasure of meeting GLA and team in Florida this month. Seeing is believing, they showed me the worlds first prototype of the modular manifold they invented. So dont be fooled by what competitors say. GLA is the original and the regulator exudes that and then some. Easy to use needle valve, LED light for the solenoid and stay put adjustments. I never have to touch my needle valve. The set up guide and videos were perfect. Top quality through and through. Thank you GLA.

Professional grade aquarium co2 regulator.
Well designed and made. I like the ability to add modular manifold blocks without the need to buy another co2 system. I had my wife perform the install due to an injury. She passed with flying colors. The system is super smooth and perfectly set where you leave the settings. The big dual stage body makes my Amazon dual stage look like a kids toy. Go with GLA.

Outstanding co2 regulator. A truly wonderful experience. The regulator arrived timely, packaged very professionally, and quite lovely I might add. The installation process was very easy. This regulator feels very professional grade. I replaced my Amazon knock off with this GLA regulator and the difference is immediate. The GLA model for starters is twice the size, its internal design is true to that of a real dual stage. Dont fall for the toy stuff you see for cheap, I did and paid the price. The GLA design is a lab quality design at a very affordable price. Its even has better gas control than the AP.com regulator which is fully electronic. The GLA regulator is a workhorse with two internal diaphragms. Nobody else in the industry is using two internal diaphragms because of cost. Get passed the toy regulator idea and get a GLA regulator. Save your money, spare no expense and go with GLA.

The best co2 regulator on the market.
I ordered this along with the co2 reactor and you will be hard pressed to find better quality and service. The service alone was amazing. Packaging was a work of art and I plan in keeping that. My daughter has already claimed the box but little does she know! Installing the regulator was painless. Outstanding co2 regulator.
Beautiful well made design. This is the most accurate system I have used so far. I come from an AP.com electronic regulator which proved to be a fake. While its bubble count was rock steady, they have one massive flaw, the regulator. They use a soda regulator made by Cornelius. It has a dumping effect that raises the PSI. This increase in PSI did not effect the bubble rate because of the electronics. But, it did not control the volume going into the tank, why? Because the bubbles got much larger when the PSI was constantly increasing towards the end, basically dumping co2 via large volume bubbles. The only way to prevent this is with a dual stage regulator. I was happy to learn that GLA is a real 2 internal diaphragm dual stage. Thats why the body is double the size. I also learned that the more toy like dual stages are not true dual stage. They are fixed internal working pressure with secondary working pressure adjustment. They do not contain 2 internal diaphragms, only one. If you email GLA they have the schematics that explain it very well. Installing the regulator was easy, even comes with installation tools and servicing tools. The only thing I have to do is refill my bubble counter regularly. I wipe it clean every water change using plant based stainless steel cleaner, its amazing.

Amazing co2 regulator.
I was in a pinch because my previous regulator had failed and needed a replacement quickly. I emailed first and was repsonded to within minutes. I was told it would take at least 24hrs to ship. This was due to the QC process they have for every regulator involving Zaxis digital leak testing. I could appreciate this fact very much and was worth the wait. Delivery was still quick, and arrived in perfect working order and was a blessing to work with. GLA co2 regulators and service are unmatched by any experience Ive encountered. I will be doing business with GLA for as long as my tank exist. Im a proud momma of GLA co2 lol.

The best aquarium co2 regulator.
Im not even sure what to say, its the best aquarium co2 regulator Ive ever used. I own a few Amazon versions that are total garbage. I tried the co2art people but the service overseas to get my warranty taken care of was a nightmare. Thats when I learned about GLA and was blown away at the service and quality upon receipt. GLA is the top of the top, they invented the modular manifold. They also assemble everything in Florida. You can email the team and see for yourself. The photos they sent me of assembly by legit Americans blew my mind. I was more impressed with the fact they even go as far to repair other makes and models. They dont even advertise this but i thought it was amazing. They even showed my photos of terrible quality control with other brands and noted to me the reason you see this is because they are made and assembled in China. No quality control measures. GLA has the machines and tools to fabricate and repair. These other guys absolutely do not. You can bet your ass on that. Way to go GLA, Im impressed.

High quality planted aquarium co2 regulator.
I ordered this regulator with my PPS system about 8 weeks ago. The regulator, my god its beautiful. My previous dual stage from Amazon was absolute dookie. The GLA dual stage is easily twice the size and weight. It feels substantial, not like my other one. It feels good in your hands and when you go to adjust your bubble rate its super smooth. Love the water tight chord grip and LED.

Outstanding quality and service from Green Leaf Aquariums.
I purchased on a recommendation from my LFS. I was using another brand of regulator prior that was more budget friendly and it ended up costing me so much more in the end. My husband was devastated. We reached out to Green Leaf Aquariums and we received expert help immediately. Not only that but they have a cool text service, literally GLA at your finger tips. The regulator arrived quickly, and installation was super easy. The needle valve on the regulator is an excellent flow curve. It makes tuning your co2 flow rate a breeze. The regulator is super nice, nicer than any other of my aquarium equipment lol. You can buy with confidence at Green Leaf Aquariums.

High quality through and through.
Super high quality, very precise in all adjustments. I would like to stress the precision needle valve has a linear rate like no other I have used before. The Green Leaf Aquariums Co2 regulator needle valve is butter smooth and effortless. You can get your bubble rates lower than any other needle valve you see on those garbage units from Amazon or the like, that was my first mistake. Never again, GLA is the way to go.

This is an absolute fantastic piece of equipment.
I had to recently replace my regulator and did not want to cut any corners this time. The value here is what you need to be looking at here. GLA equipment is second to none. Quality of the build is clearly evident. The installation process was similar to my last so it was super easy. Clear easy to follow set up guide as well. I had a question for GLA and saw they have this new text service and it was freaking amazing. You can ask anything you want and its like GLA is in the room with you. What a tremendous experience. SMOOTH, well done GLA
I've owned 5 co2 systems in my life and only two were worth a !*&!, the first and the last. And GLA will be my last! My first system was basically a co2 bottle with a series of upside down cups submerged in the aquarium. Not the most effective system, but I did see some results and it was so simple nothing could go wrong. Thanks Tetra. Your system was exactly what you said it was. Although you failed to mention the bug you were bitting me with. Since then every system I've tried has been garbage. Leaking gauges, poor needle valves, regulators with two settings (full on or maybe tomorrow) I've seen it all. I had about given up. I found myself dreaming of those simpler days even if it meant having a stack of plastic cups in my aquarium. I don't know what internet rabbit hole led me to your web site, but there I was and I was trying every trick to talk myself out of buying another over-priced on/off switch for my 5 gallon Betta tank. Lol (I've got dreams, ok) Well, it arrived shortly after. 30 minutes after arrival it was running perfectly. Well, other than the leaky check valve i had left in line from my old system. BEGONE, DEMON! Thank you GLA, for providing me exactly what I have been expecting for the last 35 years. I would not change a thing. The looks are great, the Finnish on all the parts are perfect, every knob has the same smooth action, all the valves have perfect ratios for ease of use and responsiveness, love the bubble counter, and even great instructions. Most importantly though, one week in and I'm all ready getting great results. Will buy again. Will be trying more of your products. Gotta go plan that dream tank, talk to you soon.
