Why Choose the GLA GRO CO2 System?
The GRO System brings together the essential components for a refillable pressurized CO2 installation, with precise control and convenient automatic operation.
- Regulator, Cylinder & Tubing Included: Get the GRO regulator, a refillable 5 lb aluminum CO2 cylinder, and 10 feet of CO2-resistant tubing in one package.
- Piston-Type Pressure Regulation: Reduces cylinder pressure to a stable, adjustable working pressure for consistent CO2 delivery.
- Precise CO2 Adjustment: The precision needle valve allows fine control of CO2 flow and can be rotated 360° for convenient positioning.
- Automatic CO2 Control: The integrated electric solenoid allows CO2 injection to turn on and off automatically using a timer or compatible controller.
- Easy Monitoring: The working-pressure gauge displays regulator output pressure, while the bubble counter provides a visual reference for adjusting CO2 flow.
- Integrated Protection: A pressure relief valve provides additional protection, while the bubble counter check valve helps prevent aquarium water backflow. Micron filtration helps protect internal regulator components.
- Durable Construction: The aluminum regulator body, precision metal-on-metal valve seat, and quality pneumatic components are designed for long-term use.
- USA Inspection & Testing: Every GRO regulator is individually inspected, pressure tested, and leak checked in the USA before shipment.

Refillable 5 lb Aluminum CO2 Cylinder
The GRO System includes a refillable 5 lb aluminum CO2 cylinder with a standard USA CGA-320 connection.
Unlike disposable cartridges, the cylinder can be refilled by a compatible local CO2 or compressed-gas supplier and reused as needed.
Choose between one or two 5 lb cylinders when ordering. A second cylinder provides an additional CO2 supply that can be filled and kept ready for future use.
Please Note: All cylinders are shipped empty. Confirm local CO2 filling availability before ordering.
Optional Multi-Aquarium Expansion
The optional GLA GRO CO2 Splitter allows one GRO regulator and CO2 cylinder to supply multiple planted aquariums.
Each splitter outlet includes its own precision needle valve, allowing you to adjust CO2 flow independently for each aquarium.
You can expand your installation without replacing the existing GRO regulator. Additional aquariums will increase overall CO2 consumption.

Can I use an inline atomizer or CO2 reactor?
Yes. GRO supports common planted aquarium CO2 diffusion methods, including ceramic diffusers, external inline atomizers, and compatible reactor systems. Diffusion equipment is sold separately.

We are loving GLA products and support!
Its been such a wonderful journey with GLA since they have been helping with our 150g new aquascape. Its sorta a big deal in my neighborhood since everybody comes to my house every weekend for the BBQ. Our tank id densely planted with quite an expense in plants that we have curated over the months. Now that we have this system in place the plants have really taken off. Super easy to set up and is just excellent quality. We are also using the GLA Nectar AIO fertilizer in medium dosage setting and things are just fantastic. Ive gotten a few neighbors on board to set up tanks and to me this is such a blessing this day and age. Who would have thought my planted tank would bring a community together. Thank you GLA and staff!

Worth every penny spent!
Highly recommend this co2 system from GLA. Extremely high quality for what you are paying. Do know you need a couple parts to add, like a co2 diffuser and drop checker. David at GLA helped me choose both and only took minutes to get me squared away. I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon for my tanks and over the years I noticed how cheap they were. I decided to dicth amazon and go direct to dealers the the quality from GLA was leaps and bounds the Amazon junk. Cant beat the service with very helpful knowledgable staff. I asked so many questions I felt so bad! But, when people love what they do the service is amazing. My tank is being fed co2 as I write this review and the diffusion is fun to watch. GLA if you see this review you should figure a way for your customers to add photos, would love to share some!

A system worth every penny.
This is a terrific system. You get good value and price with a team of customer service Ive yet to experience with anything involving customer service these days. It took only 10 minutes to fully set up and it was effortless. The system has been turning on and off daily as it should and absolutely no interventions. Always steady and no messing around. If I need to feed another tank I plan to get the splitter system they offer. Well made equipment and well priced from a US based company.

Excellent service and even better quality.
My first co2 system for our planted tank. After weeks of reading online and in Facebook groups we knew GLA was the o e to go to. We were confused as what system to buy with all the options. After consulting with tech support they took the time to explain everything and even offer phone text support. These days almost everything we buy is online. Working with GLA was online, but they made it so comfortable to buy that we felt like we were in a store. It felt like somebody was holding our hand the whole way. An experience like no other online purchase we’ve ever made. Certainly not Amazon. The staff is amazing and kudos to whoever trains them. The quality of the product alone was above and beyond our expectations at such a low price when considering all you get. Neatly packed and arrived with speed our aquascape is brimming with growth. I’m hoping to start selling my clipping one day on my Etsy! Thank you GLA, you have a loyal customer for life. Sincerely, Kenisha and family.

Top tier co2 kit!
Loving our new co2 system from GLA. Arrived as fast as Amazon and with supirior customer support. The regulator is extremely well made, its not chincy at all. Ive seen and held Fzone regulators and Co2Art regulators many times and I was envious then. But! Once a GLA unit is in your hands there is just no comparison. This is real high pressure co2 equipment. Rest assured GLA is real co2 hardware vs the others.

Brilliant co2 system and very nice!
Was a pleasure working with GLA trying to figure out my co2 system needs. This Gro system has been working wonderfully and my tank has never looked better. Very well priced and quality to boot, cant ask much more than that coming from GLA! The very best!

Worth every penny invested.
I normally dont leave reviews out of pure laziness but I feel this is necessary. These days everything I buy is online and this co2 system was no exception to the rule. My LFS actually advised I go with GLA vs what they were selling which was Ultum Nature systems. I was able to touch and feel the Ultum system so I have a good idea to compare. Instantly the GLA was double the weight, about the same size but much heavier. The little needle valve also felt so much better when you adjsut the bubble rate. At the LFS the Ultum kit felt scratchy and oddly responsive. I could tell the GLA kit was a finer piece of equipment, 9 months in and its been doing fantastic. It only took me minutes to install and I have not touched it since. Actually I do wipe it down to keep dust off it. I have an ADA cabinet so its completely visible in my living room. GLA makes one exceptional co2 system at a great price. The customer service was astounding, very kind and helpful people that made me feel like family. Very rare these days. GLA are highly admirable people son dont hesitate to buy from them. I love this Gro co2 system!

Will be buying another system soon!
Love this co2 system and definitely plan to buy another kit today. Can’t express my gratitude enough to GLA for the service. They helped me pick this kit and it’s been flawless everyday.
-
Worth the investment.
Im loving my Gro system. Very nice quality throughout and have not had to make any adjustments since my drop checker turned green. Although I feel that every co2 system should come with a drop checker, this does not so make sure you get one. I purchased this one and could not be happier. https://greenleafaquariums.com/products/glass-orb-co2-drop-checker-kit-for-nature-aquarium.html

It’s been a wonderful experience getting my first co2 system up and running. GLA customer service was extremely beneficial to my tanks success. Beautifully crafted co2 system they put together and installation was super easy, even for being my first time! I was very proud of myself and I show it off to all my guest who can’t even believe I have something like this in my living room. The system works perfectly. Absolutely zero complaints. ONce slick well made co2 system.
Had tons of help from GLA and this system fit the bill. Received it and was very surprised, packaged with care and delivered with speed. More so was the ease of installation and quality of execution upon setup. Definitely highly recommend.
-
Best deal of a co2 system you will find.
I looked everywhere and so glad I chose this system. Everything was super nice. Thanks GLA.

Super nice and great price.
Loving the Gro system! Everything came packed like gifts, upon opening was top quality equipment I was impressed by everything including the sticker they provided. Installing took me all of maybe 5 minutes and I took my time. They even provide tools for installation. Everything was super smooth sailing from there. It’s still on the first fill only a few months but it’s been rock steady. I do refill the bubble counter when it’s empty which has me thinking of upgrading to there instant fill type bubble counter that requires no opening. Otherwise great buy with customer support like no other experience I’ve had.
