Sales Tax

As required by law, all orders shipped to Florida will be subject to state sales tax.

Shipping, Order Processing & Tracking

Shipping Charges: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout using our shipping calculator. Simply add items to your cart, then click "Estimate Shipping" when reviewing your cart. Once you enter your shipping address, the final shipping options will be shown at checkout.

Order Processing: We process and ship orders the same or next business day to ensure a quick delivery.

Tracking Information: Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking details so you can follow its journey. If you don't receive this email, feel free to reach out to us to verify your email address.

Important Notes:

  • Orders over $300 may require a signature upon delivery. If you’re not available, the carrier will leave instructions on how to retrieve your package.
  • If your order is shipped via UPS, consider signing up for UPS My Choice—a free service that lets you manage shipments and authorize package releases without requiring a signature.
  • Double-check that your shipping address is correct during checkout. If changes are needed post-shipment, please note there could be a $25 fee for address corrections or package intercepts.
  • GLA is not responsible for packages stolen after they are marked as delivered.

Shipping Destination Coverage & International Duties

Worldwide Shipping: We proudly ship worldwide from the USA, ensuring that your items reach you no matter where you are!

International Orders: If shipping costs aren't calculated during checkout, contact us directly and we’ll provide you with a shipping quote.

Customs Duties: For international shipments, customs duties and brokerage fees may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer, and unfortunately, we don’t handle or collect them.

UK VAT Tax

GLA is not registered to collect or remit UK VAT.

According to UK VAT laws (2021), customers should place an order of around $180 USD (135 GBP) before shipping to ensure VAT is applied. Orders below this amount may be returned, abandoned by customs, or held, and GLA is not responsible for these losses. No refunds or replacements will be provided for such situations.

Shipment Error, Damage, or Defective Claims

Order Errors: If you notice any issues with your order, email us at info@greenleafaquariums.com within 12 hours of receiving your items, and we'll fix it right away.

Shipment Damage: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 12 hours at info@greenleafaquariums.com, including photos of the damage. Be sure to keep all packing materials for inspection or insurance claims.

Defective Products: If you find a defect with your product, let us know within seven days of receipt, and we’ll work quickly to resolve the issue.

Exclusions:

Damage caused by improper use or installation is not covered under these policies.

Exchange & Return Policy

Exchanges: If you'd like to exchange an item, please email us at info@greenleafaquariums.com within seven days of receiving your order.

Returns: To return an item, email us within seven days of receiving your purchase to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns are subject to the following conditions:

  • RA is valid for 30 days from issuance.
  • Returns may incur a 10% restocking fee.
  • Items must be in new, unused condition with original packaging and components.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Used, altered, special orders, sale items, CO2 regulators, CO2 systems, and fertilizers.

Limited Lifetime Warranty – GLA CO2 Regulators

Our GLA CO2 Regulators are covered under a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship, as long as the product is used according to our guidelines and is owned by the original purchaser.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Products that are modified, altered, abused, or misused.
  • Damage resulting from improper installation (e.g., using a wrench on the regulator for anything other than securing it to the CO2 cylinder).

Claims Process:

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us with proof of purchase and clear photos of the product. If the damage is not covered by the warranty, repair services may be available for a fee.
