GLA Ultimate GH Booster supplies calcium and magnesium to raise general hardness (GH) in planted and freshwater aquariums. Ideal for remineralizing RO/DI water or supplementing soft water, this dry mineral blend provides essential minerals for aquatic plants and freshwater livestock.
Adjust GH to suit your aquarium’s needs with a measured dose. GH Booster increases general hardness without adding carbonate hardness (KH), allowing you to adjust GH and KH separately.
Dosing & Instructions
Add 4.2 g per 10 US gallons of RO/DI water to raise GH by approximately 3 dGH.
Measure by weight using a gram scale for accuracy. Mix into replacement water with thorough stirring or circulation, allowing time for the minerals to dissolve. Test GH before use and adjust the dose to match your desired increase.
For water changes, dose according to the volume of replacement water. When treating water that already contains minerals, account for its existing GH.

Better than Equilibrium
Really like this revised GH Booster from GLA. It stays nice and soft so it’s easy to mix vs Equlibrium turning into a solid rock. I like that this no longer contains potassium either, pure GH Boosting ability is all I ask. Works perfect.

Always consistent.
Used for my 180g discus tank for years and it’s always consistent. Much better preferred over Seachem.

I don't know about the "ultimate". But, it does exactly what I need it to do. It's consistent and it's available. 3 days after my order it shows up on my doorstep, packaged well (with a couple items I can't tell the W...hgoghmf about).

Excellent product worked great for my RO water.
I was using liquid based GH additives prior but that did not seem cost effective for my 200g tank. I started using GLA GH Booster and my tank is totally stable. I add this to my RO water holding tank that houses a heater as well. The water is constantly circulated to ensure perfect mixing. The easy to use jar makes dosing a breeze and keeps everything dry.
