CO2 Color Guide
- Blue: Low CO2 level – increase CO2 injection
- Green: Approximate optimal CO2 level (~30ppm)
- Yellow: Elevated CO2 level – decrease CO2 injection
How to Use
- Rinse the drop checker prior to use.
- Fill with the included CO2 indicator solution.
- Install inside the aquarium using the included suction cup.
- Allow approximately 2–3 hours for the solution color to respond to aquarium CO2 levels.

Perfect fit for my 60cm
This is nice in that it scaled well for my 60cm tank. Very thick glass and very reminiscent of ADA’s drop checker, much cheaper though! Loving it!

Its very well made and I love the size!
Loving this vs the old lady dress looking style I broke lol, I dont know how else to describe it, but the old one was like an old ladies dress and it was unnecessarily HUGE! This one is small and the glass is thick!

Beautiful and functionally perfect.
This is my 3rd order from GLA and it has been such a great experience. This was the last piece I needed to finish my co2 system from GLA. Such an easy simple way that helped me dial in my co2 bubble rate on the regulator. Only took me 2.5 days to dial in my levels into the green. Very nice glassware I’ll say. I’ve seen similar versions at my local fish store but they had more of this larger squirt looking bottom end. I liked the small shape with the angle bottom as it just looks more modern vs that big bell shape. I did notice this glass is thicker than the larger ones at my LFS, so hopefully that’s a good thing. Even came with a pipette to inject the 4DKH.

Better than ADA by a long shot.
My 90p uses an ADA drop checker that was double the price of this and its exactly the same. The difference is GLA comes with real 4DKH solution. ADA comes with ph reagent. Needless to say I will not be buying any ADA glassware moving froward.

Very very nice glassware.
Ive bought a few of these over the years. I have lost almost al of them. From my experience they were all exactly the same when you look at the shape of them. However when you look at this one it has a very nice modernized design, very similar to ADA, you cant even tell the difference. I went to Aquaforest jst to compare them, they were identical! ADA charges $60! This is half the price and the very same exact thing. EXACTLY! This is a terrific deal and even better because it comes with real 4DKH solution, win!

Love this drop checker. I bought this because it looks just like my ADA drop checker. Side by side you cant even tell which is which! Very nice GLA!
