Magnesium Sulfate MgSO4 - Aquarium Plant Nutrients

  • 1lb/Jar
  • provides Magnesium (Mg) and Sulfur (S) to aquarium plants, vital macronutrients
  • Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO4), aquarium plant nutrients vital for phosphorus uptake, providing (Mg) and (S) to plants.
  • use to raise general hardness (GH) in soft water
  • Magnesium is vital to chlorophyll molecules and the transport of Iron (Fe). Lack of Mg prevents plants from absorbing iron, resulting in yellow leaves with green veins, brown spots and distorted growth of leaves. Mg is highly mobile in plants, and signs of deficiency will first appear in older tissues and lastly the new growth. It's recommended to supplement with Magnesium as your tap water may not provide enough of this essential nutrient. Sulfur (S) is essential to root development in plants.
  • aids in photosynthesis, chlorophyll, enzyme activator, phosphorus uptake, nutrient and waste transfer, raise GH of soft water

Deficiency Symptoms: interveinal chlorosis of older leaves, pale or transparent distorted leaves, brown spots

Guaranteed Analysis:

  • Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate (MgSO4.7H2O)
  • Magnesium (Mg) - 10.0%
  • Sulfur (S) - 13.0%
